The Dhoti Look

Here comes another boho look in my very old silk wrap skirt. I have a love-hate relationship with this skirt, my mother had got this green silk cloth to make a tunic but, I ended up getting a skirt done as, I was not convinced with the skills of the tailor and thought that converting it into a wrap skirt will definitely let me use or get it stitched the way I want in future.

Now, long skirts don’t look that great on me, so I hate it when I can’t wear it often but love it as I love this color, the silk material is just wow. This is a versatile piece in my closet, it looks great with a long tunic, a simple blouse or even a tank top in summer, with or without accessories, and in winters its a darling with boots and jumpers and jackets.

Last week, I wore it to my office and posted a pic on Instagram, so my dear mother gave me this idea to wear it this time for the blog post with lots of jewelry and she insisted, that I must keep my hair open too. Fortunately, there was no wind blowing which is the norm in Chicago and I could fulfill her wish.

Until next time
